About the Position
We seek a committed Project Coordinator to lead community development initiatives with the Pahariya community, strengthen institutions, engage stakeholders, and ensure effective project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate community leadership development and strengthen collective decision-making.
- Organize training, workshops, and regular meetings with community leaders and stakeholders.
- Promote sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture through farmer training and knowledge sharing.
- Support community seed banks, farmer groups, and improved agricultural practices.
- Strengthen the Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) through governance, financial management, and market linkages.
- Coordinate with government departments, NGOs, financial institutions, and private sector partners.
- Build strategic partnerships and represent the project in coordination meetings and consultations.
- Monitor project implementation, maintain documentation, and prepare periodic reports.
- Collect, analyze, and manage project data for planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Mobilize communities and promote participation of women, youth, and marginalized groups.
- Facilitate awareness on government schemes, rights, entitlements, and livelihood opportunities.
- Strengthen community ownership to ensure long-term sustainability of project interventions.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, Agriculture, Development Studies, Sociology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in community development, livelihood promotion, agriculture, or tribal development projects.
- Experience working with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Self-Help Groups (SHGs), or community-based institutions will be preferred.
- Experience working with tribal communities will be an added advantage.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data management and report writing.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Willingness to travel extensively in rural and remote project locations.
- Should have a valid driving license.
Salary
Up to ₹35,000/- to ₹39,000/- based on qualification and experience.
