Mahila Sabha Mutual Benefit Trust (Mbt) Jamtara

Mahila Sabha Mutual Benefit Trust (MBT) is registered under the Indian

Trust Act 1982, dated 30/04/2011 situated at Gandhi Ashram Kewatjali. The

Registration No is- 186/20. MBT is a federation of Mahila Sabha groups

formed by the Badlao Foundation since its inception. This is in tune with

achieving the objectives of women’s empowerment in the pursuit of

Socioeconomic and Political Development. As conceived since the

beginning, the village-level Mahila Sabha units would continue to be in the

vanguard for all grassroots-level development initiatives, while the MBT

might be considered as the interface between the people’s initiative and

Badlao’s quest for meaningful intervention in a process mode.

Badlao Institute of Education is another registered entity with Registration

No- 125/19/2011 under the Indian Trust Act 1982, situated at JP Ashram

Korapara Mihijam which is focused on ensuring quality education and other

skill development programmes in the Santhal Pargana district of Jharkhand.

Education has been a focus area of BIE and it was only after identifying the

need and observation we noticed that many of the children in the area were

still not a part of the Education mainstream. Thus, the “Equal opportunity

for education for all” – KG to PG initiative – was taken. Today students

around the corners of the district of Santhal Pargana are part of our

Institution. We are running a Greenwood School and IGNOU centre for the

students with our initiative of Education for All.

Badlao Institute of Training and Management is an Institution for

Management & Leadership for Social Transformation. BITM Registration No

is 08/2009-10 and registered under Society Registration Act 1860. The

Institute acts as a Centre for learning and development for social sector

organizations based in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Since its inception, we have

trained more than 8200 people in diversified streams of development

including PRI, Natural Resource Management, off & on the farm &

Vocations, HIV/AIDS and Education. Apart from this, we organized

Workshops, Meetings and seminars for beneficiaries. We have expertise in

documentation, Research, and Evaluation of development initiatives.
