About the Position
We seek a committed Creche Supervisor to support the establishment and effective functioning of creche centres at the village level. The position will involve village identification, community mobilization, stakeholder engagement, child enrolment, centre readiness, caregiver coordination, and regular field-level monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Review ICDS data to identify villages requiring creche interventions.
- Visit identified villages to understand local conditions, community needs, existing services, and feasibility of establishing creches.
- Prepare weekly intervention plans based on field observations and child-specific data.
- Work with PRIs, AWWs, ASHAs, community members, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct community meetings and participate in Gram Sabhas to explain the creche initiative.
- Facilitate caregiver selection in collaboration with the community and project team.
- Build community participation and ownership through regular meetings and engagement.
- Identify safe and appropriate locations for creche centres.
- Conduct child and household line listings for planning and enrolment.
- Support communities in preparing and improving selected creche locations.
- Coordinate with the project team and relevant stakeholders for centre establishment.
- Support child enrolment and follow-up activities.
- Monitor the functioning of creche centres through regular visits.
- Support caregivers in following prescribed practices and procedures.
- Identify operational challenges and communicate them to the concerned team members.
- Maintain required field documentation and provide updates on centre activities.
- Support community-level activities and other program requirements as assigned.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in community-based interventions.
- Experience working with communities, children, health, nutrition, ECCE, or development programs will be preferred.
- Having a two-wheeler with valid driving licence is essential for applying for the post.
- The Applicants must have an interest and passion for working in the social sector, along with commitment and perseverance.

Salary:
₹25,000 per month (CTC)
