👥 About Badlao Foundation
Badlao Foundation works with tribal communities, especially in the Santhal Pargana region, to strengthen Gram Sabhas, governance systems, and community-driven sustainable development. 📝 Qualifications
Project Coordinator
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in governance-related work, especially Gram Sabha.
- Ability to work closely with tribal communities by leveraging cultural values, traditions, and sustainable livelihood practices.
Block Coordinator
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in governance-related work, particularly with vulnerable tribal communities.
- Preference for candidates with prior experience in governance-focused roles.
Common Requirements
- Degree: MSW, MARD, MBA, Development Studies, or relevant field
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English.
- Knowledge of Pahariya/Santhali language will be an advantage.
- Proactive and optimistic approach.
📌 Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Program Implementation & Coordination: Lead program execution, liaise with stakeholders (government, NGOs, community), and organize meetings and trainings.
- Community Engagement & Mobilization: Work with Paharia and tribal communities to address their needs, promote participation, and raise awareness on education, health, and welfare issues.
- Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting: Track progress, assess impact, document reports, and recommend improvements.
- Capacity Building: Train local volunteers and staff; conduct skill-enhancement sessions for community members.
- Data & Resource Management: Collect accurate data, manage resources, and ensure fair distribution of materials.
